Program for Young couple in Rundale Palace

Guests arrive to the Palace at first and courtiers meet them on the State staircase.
Ceremony master and ladies of the duchess’s court prepare guests for greeting the young couple.
The „carriage“of newly-weds drives inside the state courtyard, where guests and courtiers kindly greet them.
Ceremony master invites everyone to the Palace, where theatrical excursion is held after traditions of the 18th cent.
The official congratulation speech is given in the Gold Hall, afterwards guests are in invited to the dancing hall (White Hall).
Courtiers tell about interesting symbols of the sculptural compositions in the White Hall and the young couple dance their first valse. But the representatives of Duke’s court show the most popular dance of 18th c. – menuetto, guests are kindly invited to join!
After the „official part“ courtiers accompany the young couple with their „suite“ to the Private apartments of Duke.
There guests will hear interesting stories, secrets and curioses of the court life, but in the Duchess’s Budoir bride will learn the „language of fan“.
After the journey through apartments courtiers invite guests to a walk in the wonderful French formal park.
It is possible to have a glass of champagne in the garden.
